Use the live health endpoint for current checks, then follow each message’s own delivery evidence.
Current checks
The public health endpoint reports current service checks. A healthy response is a point-in-time observation, not a historical uptime guarantee.
Message outcomes are separate
A successful API request can mean queued or accepted by a relay. Inspect the returned message ID, delivery logs and signed webhooks for later provider and destination outcomes.
When a request is delayed
Check account and shared capacity, event freshness, template approval, provider response and queue age. Keep unavailable measurements unavailable rather than treating them as zero.
