ACCOUNT AND ONBOARDING PRIVACY
Your account and connections
Emailer API is operated by Alpha Marketing Group. This page explains the information used for customer sign-in, email delivery and onboarding.
Account identity
We use your email address, account identifier and optional team name to create and secure your workspace. Google sign-in requests your identity and email address. It does not grant access to your Gmail mailbox, contacts, Drive files or messages. An email login link proves control of the address and expires after ten minutes. Session cookies keep you signed in; login proofs and session tokens are stored as hashes.
Setup and the built-in assistant
We save your selected email type, domain, framework and verification progress so you can resume setup. If you use the built-in helper, your setup question, recent assistant conversation and relevant onboarding state are processed by Emailer API’s AI service and its configured AI provider. Do not enter credentials or unrelated personal information in chat. The service attempts to remove recognizable credentials before processing chat; use the separate secure fields for keys and tokens.
Assistant conversations are removed from the active application after 30 days through scheduled cleanup. Operational backups can retain earlier records. Verified setup choices remain associated with your account.
Credentials and optional connections
Cloudflare DNS credentials and application/provider connection secrets are stored encrypted on the server. The setup assistant cannot read them. Cloudflare receives DNS queries and only the exact additions you approve. Disconnecting Cloudflare removes its usable credential from the active connection. Existing DNS records remain at your provider.
ChatGPT and Claude connections are optional. Connecting one shares your onboarding state and permitted tool results with that assistant under the account you authorize. These services also apply their own privacy policies. OAuth access is scoped to onboarding, expires and can be revoked in Connections. It does not expose email contents, API keys or provider credentials through the onboarding tools.
Email service information
To deliver transactional email, the service processes approved templates, recipient addresses, the message content and event evidence supplied by your application or connected provider. Delivery systems receive the information needed to route the message. Emailer API retains operational delivery, security, usage and verification records to run and protect the service. Sender complaint reporting uses aggregate domain reports and available provider feedback; the onboarding login connection does not access mailboxes.
Optional website analytics
With the same optional analytics permission, Microsoft Clarity records interactions on our public marketing pages to help us understand navigation and improve the site. Page text is masked and form inputs are excluded from recording. Clarity is not installed in private app pages and does not start on addresses containing query strings or fragments. We also keep Clarity off when the browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Revoking analytics permission stops new Clarity collection; it does not erase recordings already received by Microsoft. See Microsoft’s privacy statement.
With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits to our public marketing pages, signup-button clicks and interactions with the example setup preview. Google receives technical information such as your browser/device information, consented analytics identifiers, the public page address and referring site. We remove query strings and fragments from the page address supplied to Analytics and send only the origin of a referring site. Google processes data under its own privacy terms.
Analytics starts only after you choose Allow analytics. Declining keeps it off. With the same consent choice, Microsoft Clarity records masked public-page interactions for usability review. Clarity is configured to Strict masking, which masks all text, and we do not send account identifiers, email contents, credentials, assistant conversations or form-field contents through it. Clarity may take up to an hour to apply masking-setting changes; the setting does not change data already collected. We do not install this marketing tag in the customer dashboard or send account identifiers, email contents, credentials, assistant conversations or form-field contents through it. Advertising signals, personalized ads and automatic form/search tracking are disabled. Public-page visits do not prove that a customer signed up or completed an integration.
Use Privacy choices in the footer to change your decision. We store that decision in this browser. Google Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 90 days without refreshing their expiry; revoking consent stops future collection and removes available first-party Analytics cookies in this browser. It does not erase data already received by Google. See Google’s privacy policy and information about GA4 data handling. You can contact us about access or deletion requests.
Optional YouTube video
Our website features a video from our own Emailer API YouTube channel. The player connects to YouTube only when you choose Play video. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player; Google may receive device, network and playback information when you use it. Video playback is separate from your optional Google Analytics choice. You can read the transcript without loading YouTube. See Google’s privacy policy.
Your choices and contact
You can complete setup without an external AI connection, use manual DNS setup, revoke optional assistant grants, and disconnect provider connections from your account. Contact admin@alphamarketing.group for account, access, correction or deletion requests and privacy questions. Do not include passwords or API secrets in your message.
